MICHAEL OWEN HATES films. He hates them. So much so that he’s only watched eight movies over the course of his whole life.

Yesterday, the footballer turned pundit tweeted his outrage at being forced to watch a *whisper it* feature-length film on a flight home from China.

He followed this up with a complete list of films he’s been ‘forced to watch’:

Rocky, Jurassic Park, Forrest Gump and…Seabiscuit? *shakes head*

Back in August, Owen brought up his hatred of cinema in an interview with The Guardian, saying he just “can’t get into them”.

I do try – someone will say, “Watch this film, it’s great,” and I’ll try but after a half an hour, 40 minutes, I can’t take it any longer.

Ah Michael. There is a whole world out there you just refuse to experience. We’re sorry for you.
